Glossybox – October 2017

This months Glossybox is the best one yet! I love being a mermaid. This box contains five full-sized products. The total value of £51.48. How amazing is that especially when monthly subscription is just £10.00! This months theme is Unicorn VS. Mermaid. I know which one I wanted and I got it!

WHAT IS IN THE BOX?

  • MAKEUP REVOLUTION Mermaid VS. Unicorn Eyeshadow Palette

RRP / £4.00

I am obsessed with this palette! It includes 6 shimmering green and blue shades which represent a Mermaid.

And 6 shades to represent a Unicorn.

When I swatched these shades, I felt as though they are a little too dark. Unicorns are bright pink & purple with just as much glitter. I’m a little disappointed to see black in there.

    • SLEEK MAKEUP Creme to Powder Blush

    RRP / £5.99

I have tried a few cream-to-powder blushes in my time and I have to say this isn’t a favourite. I recived shade Gerbera. Sadly it looks orange on my pale skin. The only thing I liked about this product was the packaging. Just like the brands name, very sleek.

    • KAWII ENTERPRISE Brush Cleansing Egg

    RRP / £7.99

I received the blue silicone brush cleanser. It has nodules and grooves for you to run your wet soapy brushes over to get them clean. I have used one of these before. You can get them of eBay for a couple of pounds. It’s great item to have. Especially if you are obsessed with clean brushes like I am.

    • LORD & BERRY MAGIC BROW Perfect Eye Brow Pencil

    RRP / £14.00

I’m really not fond of receiving eyebrow pencils. I have so many and most of them make my eyebrows look cakey or unnatural. What’s different with this eyebrow pencil is that it is marbleised with two colours to flatter all shades by mimicking the colour naturally found in brows, and I actually really like it.

    • BANG BEAUTY Cream Colour

    RRP/ £19.50

Let me just start with this product ‘might’ be vegan and cruelty free. The packaging states that it was made in China but Glossybox claim that it is vegan and cruelty free on the info card. This is a multi-purpose cream that you can use on your eyes, lips and cheeks. It remains tacky like a lip balm, so I don’t recommend using it on your eyelids but I would definitely use it over a favourite lipstick to add shine.

You can also purchase the unicorn or mermaid jumper from Glossybox to go with this months box. They cost £29.99 and the sizes are quite limited which is a shame.

I really have enjoyed this months box. I can’t wait to see what November brings.

P.S. If you can shine some light on the vegan & cruelty free claim? Comment and let me know.

    Kirsty. Xx
